Music School

The Mareil-Marly music school is open to everyone from the age of 4.

It offers children from the age of 4 a playful approach to music through early-learning classes in which the sensory approach to music is adapted to each age group: vocal, physical and instrumental games... These classes help to awaken children's artistic sensibilities and develop their critical and creative minds.

The music school has two departments: Classical Music and Contemporary Music.

Instrument lessons are given by qualified and experienced teachers. They are given in individual lessons (20min 30min 45min) according to level, and a one-hour group Musical Training course, essential and compulsory for musicians in their early years.

All courses are subject to an official end-of-year examination (musical and instrumental training), and assessment is carried out by qualified external teachers. Auditions are organized at the end of the year, enabling students to present their work to their families.

A free curriculum is available for teenagers (aged 14 and over) and adults, with no exams and no musical training.

The music school also offers ensemble classes:
  • Classical orchestra
  • Children's/Adult choir
  • Contemporary music group
  • Group instrument workshops
